Kurt Erlenbach is a General Magistrate for the 18th Judicial Circuit of Florida with a courtroom in Titusville, a position he has held for ten years. Before that, he was Brevard County’s Child Support Enforcement Hearing Officer for 13 years. He is a 1978 graduate of Cornell University and a 1982 graduate of THE Ohio State University College of Law.
Mr. Erlenbach is the author of How to Write a Perfect Family Law Order, a manual used by circuit judges and magistrates throughout Florida. He is a regular presenter at the Florida Circuit Judges’ Educational Conference, and he has been a teacher at the Florida Judicial College. He was the author for 26 years of The Florida Criminal Law Weekly Report and for 17 years wrote the Florida Criminal Cases Notebook. As a General Magistrate he handles family law and mental health cases in Brevard County.
