06-27-S IN RE: JUVENILE - ASSIGNMENT ORDER FOR SHELTER HEARINGS - ORDERED 12/14/2006 BY TONYA RAINWATER

WHEREAS, it has been known to the undersigned that the efficient and proper administration of justice, combined with caseload considerations, necessitate the assignment of First Appearance Judges to conduct juvenile shelter hearings on an as needed basis; NOW THEREFORE, I, TONYA RAINWATER, Chief Judge of the 18th Judicial Circuit of Florida, hereby assign First Appearance Judges in Seminole County to preside in juvenile shelter hearings on an as needed basis, when neither sitting Juvenile Judge is available. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that this assignment shall obviate the need for said shelter hearings to be reviewed as set forth in § 39.402 (12) Florida Statutes.

DONE AND ORDERED this 14th day of December 2006.
