EXCERPT: “The Eighteenth Judicial Circuit, in accord with the requirements laid out by the Florida Legislature, and with the agreement of the agencies whose representatives have signed below, is instituting an Alternative Consequence Component Matrix (“ACCM”) for juvenile offenders. The matrix is based upon the principles stated above and recognizes that certain sanctions are appropriately handled without judicial involvement. (Open AO for more information.)”
