17-43-B IN RE: CLERK OF COURT - ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE – DISMISSAL OF CHARGE ON ALL TYPES OF CASES - ORDERED 10/24/2017 BY JOHN M. HARRIS

Whereas certain cases have an Order to Show Cause charge pending and the efficiency of the disposition of the outstanding case would greatly increase if the Clerk would administratively dismiss said charge; and Whereas no action has been taken regarding said charge for a number of years and therefore, it is ORDERED:

  1. DISMISSAL OF ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE CHARGE:
    The Clerk shall administratively dismiss all Order to Show Cause charges after three (3) years from the issuance date of said charge due to Lack of Prosecution.
  2. OUTSTANDING WARRANTS:
    The Clerk shall administratively recall any warrants related to said Order to Show Cause charge.
  3. CASE CLOSED/DISPOSED:
    In those cases where the Order to Show Cause charge (and warrant related thereto) is the only pending matter, the Clerk shall administratively close/dispose said case.
  4. This Order applies to all types of cases.
