Chief Judge Crawford has authorized the cancellation of all court proceedings in Seminole and Brevard Counties effective Noon, Tuesday, October 8, 2024, through Thursday, October 10, 2024.

Currently only Seminole County Courts holds Civil Traffic Infraction hearings in person with the option to appear via video conference for any party. All virtual hearings are held using Microsoft Teams and not Zoom. Contact the Judicial Assistant of the appropriate judge to answer how to setup a virtual hearing if the judge allows it.
Microsoft Teams is an excellent platform for conducting virtual events. The 18th Circuit only uses MS Teams for its hearings.

To appear via video conference on Microsoft Teams, you will need to have an electronic device with an internet connection. You may use a smart phone, iPad/tablet, or webcam/built in camera with sound and video. You will also need to install the Microsoft Teams APP before the conference begins at https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/microsoft-teams/download-app.
