18TH CIRCUIT JUDICIAL NOMINATING COMMISSION
REQUEST FOR APPLICATIONS

NOTICE: The Eighteenth Judicial Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission announces a vacancy in the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Debra Steinberg Nelson.

REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must meet the qualifications for Circuit Court Judges described in the Florida Constitution.

APPLICATIONS: Applications can be downloaded from https://www.flgov.com/judicial-andjudicial-nominating-commission-information/ under the term “Judicial Appointments.” Use the “Revised Judicial Application” on the webpage.

All applicants must deliver:

1. One complete unredacted copy with all attachments in .pdf or other electronic form  by email to dgerber@rumberger.com  by 5:00 p.m. on MAY 4, 2021.
2. One redacted .pdf version of the application only (without attachments) by email to dgerber@rumberger.com by 5:00 p.m. on MAY 4, 2021, redacting information as allowed by law. Redacted nominations may be made available to the public as received by the Commission. It is the applicant’s responsibility to redact personal information and information protected from disclosure under Florida law.
3. One original unredacted completed paper application with attachments and recent color photograph along with three copies by 4:00 p.m. on MAY 5, 2021 to:
